How to protect your system on same network in LAN


Steps how its possible.

click on network connections
give to manual IP
give the gate way IP i.e ADSL router/modem
give DNS both
click on advance and click on new
give the IP address as per your new IP scheme for example 10.10.10.2
255.255.255.0
click on ok and all ok
then ping the default gate way if ping and replay
its means aliese is working
Means system LAN card having two IPs one is primary and other is Virtual
in this way you can give two or more IPs on single network card.
